Our Legacy and Genesis
Founded in **1952** in Nalbari Town traditionally referred to by Assamese scholars as the *"Navadvipa of Assam"* due to its deep legacy of Sanskrit schooling and intellectual hubs Debiram Pathsala HSS has acted as a public beacon of high-quality affordable schooling in lower Assam. Starting as a localized Vernacular High School, the building was modernized and upgraded by state commands into a higher secondary institution. Recently selected under the Central Ministry's premier **PM SHRI exemplars scheme**, the infrastructure has been equipped with digital screens, dynamic water networks, and comprehensive skills-based learning kits.
